Florida Youth Conservation Corps (FYCC) was founded in 1988 in accordance with the 1987 Natural Resources Conservation Reclaimation and Use Act, originally sponsored by the Florida Department of Transportation under Florida Statute 334.351 and sponsored by cities, counties, and other government entities under Florida Statute 255.60. This gives us the opportunity to negotiate production-based contracts with the state or the governing body of any political subdivision of the state, allowing you to avoid the competitive bidding process.
FYCC is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It's goals are to prepare young adults ages 18-28 for the future, to reduce unemployment, welfare and dependency on others.
Our organization has managed contracts with Florida DOT districts, total asset management companies, cities, counties, school boards, federal government and the private sector generating revenues of more than $42 million over he past 12 years. We have never defaulted on a contract.
FYCC has completed over 150 miles of guardrail repairs, more than 300,000 square feet of sidewalk, and in excess of 100 miles of type A and type B fencing, and we have 22 years of certified welding experience.
FYCC is a proud member of The Corps Network, a nationwide organization dedicated to the success of corps programs across our country.
